Interview with George Beshara

George Beshara, is the Author/Developer of The Enhanced Lifestyle Planner and Co-Founder of North American Lifestyle Planning Corporation

What prompted you to develop the Enhanced Lifestyle Planner?

Since the early 80's, we as a society and as individuals, have been going through considerable change, and have had to learn and embrace so much new technology. This has meant longer hours of work and a high level of continual stress. It has also led many of us to start to question the purpose of life and to seek meaningfulness both at work and in our personal life.

Lifestyle planning is really fundamental to finding this meaningfulness. That's why I have started to provide lifestyle-planning services since 1987, first through workshop-led programs and later on also through a self-study approach.

Developing the Enhanced Lifestyle Planner software-based program is really a natural progression. It definitely makes the lifestyle planning process considerably simpler and extremely time-effective.

What do you feel are the main benefits to the end-users?

Its simplicity is perhaps its greatest asset. The Enhanced Lifestyle Planner leads individuals very easily and quickly to take stock of their strengths, skills and motivations. It also helps them to make very specific lifestyle choices in all areas of their lives. Couples can then discuss their choices and begin a productive dialogue, before they meet or speak with experts in the field of financial planning and lifestyle planning.

The concept is powerful and will help individuals define the lifestyle that will bring meaningfulness into their life, in order to then take the necessary steps to realize it. And all this is done at a fraction of the time it took before.

What are the benefits to the Planners?

Financial Planners and Lifestyle Planners alike will for the first time have a tool to work with, which is very efficient and which will help them to get to know very quickly their clients' needs. By also really helping their clients realize their dreams, they are highly likely to develop life-long relationships with them.

All this can now be done at a fraction of the time and cost it took before. In fact, many Financial Planners have been reluctant to approach financial planning from a comprehensive lifestyle planning perspective because it took so much time in the past. Thanks to the Enhanced Lifestyle Planner, this is no longer the case.

Well I am sincerely looking forward to seeing a large number of people substantially improve the quality of their lives as a result of completing this process and implementing the lifestyle decisions they have made.
